What We Handle

Emergency Pump Repair

Submersible and jet pump diagnosis, pull and replace, wiring and control box faults. Most no-water calls inside the core area get worked same day.

New Well Drilling

Test wells and full domestic systems for acreage buyers and rebuilds, drilled into the Woodbine or Carrizo-Wilcox sands that sit under this part of Hunt County.

Pressure Problems

Weak flow, pressure that spikes then drops, tanks that short-cycle the pump every thirty seconds. Nine times out of ten it's the tank or switch, not the pump.

Water Treatment

Softeners and iron filters sized off an actual water test, not a guess, for the hard and iron-heavy water that's normal in a lot of this county.

How A Private Well Actually Works

A submersible pump sits down in the casing, below the water level, and pushes water up a drop pipe to a pressure tank at the surface. The tank holds a cushion of air against a bladder, so the pump doesn't have to kick on every time you turn on a faucet. A pressure switch tells the pump when to start and stop, usually around 40 PSI on and 60 PSI off. Almost every well problem we see traces back to one of those three parts: the pump itself, the tank, or the switch, plus whatever pipe and wire connects them. Knowing which one failed is the whole diagnostic job, and it's why we test before we start pulling anything out of the ground.
